The taste of tradition, the aroma of authenticity, and the home of Gujarati snacks.
Our story began over 80 years ago in the idyllic village of Madhi, where our founder, Mr Manharlal Nagindas Khamniwala, began perfecting the art of creating mouthwatering Gujarati snacks.
After Mr Manharlal Nagindas Khamniwala father’s untimely demise, Mr Manharlal took over the business. Despite the challenges of losing their father at a young age, his family remained resilient and moved to the bustling city of Surat in 1979. By then, our reputation for creating the most delectable and flavorful snacks had already spread far and wide, and we opened their first outlet near the Surat Railway Station.
Over the years, Madhi ni Khamni expanded its operations and opened various outlets across the city, including Salabatpura, Athwalines, Udhna, Vesu and Citylight. We even set up a production unit in Udhna, which enabled us to cater to the increasing demand for our products. This unit almost entirely handles production for Madhi Ni Khamni to this date.
Our secret to success lies in our unwavering commitment to quality, honesty, and customer satisfaction. We only use the freshest and highest quality ingredients, and we make our snacks in small batches to ensure that every bite is as fresh and delicious as the last. Our menu boasts a range of traditional Gujarati delicacies, but it’s our Khamni and Khaman that have become household favourites.
The credit for our culinary prowess goes entirely to Mr Manharlal Khamniwala and his son, Nareshkumar Manharlal Khamniwala, who created the recipes and flavours that we still use to this day. But it’s not just about the food; it’s about the values that have been passed down through three generations – honesty, integrity, and putting the customer first.
Today, our outlets in Katargam, Udhna, Bhestan, Bardoli and Navsari (including a production unit) are run by Mr Shyam Khamniwala, the son of Mr Nareshkumar Khamniwala. Our mission is to continue serving our community with the same dedication, authenticity, and quality that have made us a beloved name in Surat and beyond. Come and taste the tradition at Madhi ni Khamni!
